| Just finished all the channels for my track, want to now put it in the playlist and run it and export (im using FL). Im only using like 4 vsts (I even exporting the patterns into audio clips for the rest of the vsts), i did some "XP fine tuning", i have an audiophile, a 3.0ghz cpu with 1gig ram, HT, blah blah blah, but after about 30 secs. when i run two vsts at once it just starts going static, slowing down, etc. WTF??? When the track is idle, it shows 50-55% CPU usage, when i get into the track it shoots up to 98%. What else can i do?? Would closing down other background processes that use 5,000-20,000k help much? |

Yeah, legacy is killer on cpu:) (you could try to turn some of the effects of, it uses itself)
making samples is the way to go indeed I guess, |

| That Legacy Cell is a CPU whore. I'm running a P4 at 3.12GHz and the damn VST Performance is sky high...it doesn't forgive. :( |
