Why we don't have a Love Parade in Canada? I don't know about you, but I think that we are the perfect place to have something like that. It doesn't even have to be all EDM...but just the concept itself in general.
We have the gay and lesbian parade...we have lots of other "street" festival type events...
I think it's time to bring the Love Parade to Toronto! :thepirate :D |

headline it with 50 cent and G Unit with a closing performance from Ashley simpson and i think you'd be on to something. Although i dont quite think it could be called love parade then. |

actually an event like this wouldn't fall into the same category that massives held in public venues would .. nonetheless there are a multitude of factors that would still prevent, if not atleast hinder this city's ability to throw such an event ..
one thing i can tell u is total co-operation among promoters and club owners in TO .. don't expect this anytime soon!

Very simple. There are not enough sponsors. Plus, like the other guys said unless u headline it with pop/hip hip then there is no market for it.
Even if you got all the ginos from Z103.5 it would still not be enough. There is not enough sponsors/demand/market for this according to big companies. At least that is what I think. |
