Best footy game ever?? I think so.

I love pro ev with a passion but it will never compare to the endless hours i spent playing this beauty. Amiga 500+ i think i had at the time, and one of those black joysticks with the yellow buttons. Zipstick i think??

Haha I had that joystick too.

The PC version was dodgy, it ran as fast as your computer could handle it, tried playing it on a P150 and the match was over in 20 seconds :haha:

I've got my original copy of SWOS here.

Last time I played it, it all runs fine speed wise.

Damned if I could ever figure out how to keep my main striker happy / his market value up. Despite banging in 100+ goals a season.

Would start with Leyton Orient in English Division 3.....

Be European Champions within 4 years ...... :eyes:

Plus the "injuries" were dodgy.....

If you saved a game, then "auto-played" a game and a star player got injured.....

Just load the save game and switch your star player with some muppet YTS lad or loan transfer job.... and they'd take the hit for you.

Result : Classic Game

Note to self: Find some more Amiga Roms.....
