Simple rules you should all follow:
1. If there is a thread about a certain type of music, all those who hate said style of music, STAY THE OUT OF THE THREAD. Seems only the trance fans respect this one. Wow, theres a shocker.
2. Respect Taha's comments. He posted a rant a while back and certain members still go against his comments. You want to hate on a type of music, then be prepared for his wrath.
3. When in a debate, you must be prepared to back up a statement with factual evidence. If you cant back up a statement, then let it go. Dont try putting words in people's mouths to force a point across.
4. Opinions are like s. Everyone has one, and thinks everyone else's reeks. If your opinion differs from someone else's, fine. You want to have an argument, see step 3.
5. This is tranceaddict, not Aria's elite techno snob lounge. People can talk about any nightclub or any style of music they want to and shouldnt worry about others making rude comments.
Im sick of seeing the same people who have nothing better to do than start with trance fans. If you think you are being clever or funny, think again. Its nothing new, its so 1998. You make a comment, run away for a while, and make another one. You dont take part in arguments, never try to be a constructive part of the argument. The only people who have been constructive are Malek and to a lesser extent Krinker. These are people I can actually discuss a topic with, without it resorting to OMG TRNACE IS TEH SUXOR!@!1 OPEN JOO MIND. That comment in itself is so hypocritical it makes me laugh. If you were so open minded, you would accept all forms of music and appreciate everything. How can you hate something, and be open minded at the same time? Apparently Im not able to do that, but you guys are? Pathetic.

youre not god either, I can see what your pointing, and respect it, but u just cant give away people opinions, its normal sometimes to differ from one another and fighting about that....doesnt mean we kill each other.....i know quite a bunch of these TAs and when we see each other, its all about friendship and fun....so dont come here and make people a lesson..... |

| I come the montreal section of a trance site to talk about trance in montreal and surrounding areas. I dont really like to take part in other threads because they are mostly french. I go outside of the montreal forums to discuss other topics. |

And theres not one person here who will have a beef with that comment. Its just the ones who tack on the "wtf dood, listen to this, or listen to that. You are an idiot for listening to this garbage."
How would all of you respond to someone who interrupted your discussion with a friend about a certain type of music and said ", you should be listening to this kind of music, your music is lame and gay." They say the same thing every time, and have been doing it constantly for several years. Im sure you would defend yourself from such retarded comments, no? Compare what you would do to what I did, and you will probably see similar results. |

| I like trance but it's not that good anymore, and since the beginning I prefer hard pumping and tribal/funky stuff, so techno and hard house is the way, hard trance can be really sexy too, trance too sometime, I like Tiësto a lot too :cool: |

I used to like trance music myself (started with it) but I quit the scene 2-3 years ago to pursue drum and bass, as some of you know. The reason why I did this is because of sheer boredom. I got tired of the same vocals, singers and high pitch drums. Simply put, it wasn't as exciting anymore. Most of you will say the same thing for drum and bass (almost every song sounds the same, lol) and that's totally true since I don't listen to DNB as often as I did. Now I'm back into techno, deep house and progressive variants. As Sim Peurf said, people evolve. I'm still true to my roots of music, but whenever something new comes along and catches my ear, I'll follow it. Of course, I will still attend a trance event and have loads of fun, with whomever.
Lastly, getting people's attentions with a dozen spam threads is pretty ing lame. That annoyed the out of me and somewhat urges me to skip reading your posts from now on, Assassin, but you would care less I assume. |
