Bu?? What's the molecule? Good News... "Mr. Corsten, please take one step foward." I guess all the junglists who voted for Andy C haven't heard any Picotto or Schulz. You figure that one out.

Butyl group, you are very familar with that molecule. =)

If Tiesto keeps going to South America.. Fresh territory, he may get #1 next yr as well.. I would laugh my ass out to all the Tiesto haters. truth of the matter is, Tiesto has been able to keep the fan base, and reach their expectactions, innovating and been creative, as well releasing new stuff constantly.. and stuff that's not crap either.

tiesto's fan base is much, much bigger than any other djs... because i know for a fact that people who wouldn't normally listen to trance or go to parties, WILL go see tiesto... Which just puts him way higher than the rest of the djs what popularity is concerned...

I have so many friends in holland whose parents have gone to tiesto parties with them just because he's so well known and they want to experience what makes him so popular... So even if people decide tiesto is no longer "their thing" (and i'm not being negative, i mean the same way people who used to like trance start to prefer prog or techno), there will be sufficient people that either STILL love him or are just being introduced to him and love him... so tiesto isn't going anywhere for a while if you ask me... (and with that i mean down on the dj mag 100. god gotta love how i have to explain everything so people dont think im being negative)

this was a positive post, just to be clear :p

Yeah, but the scene in South America is way different then in Holland.. the trance sound in holland is largely commercial.. so whatever Tiesto makes is really nothing new, compares to South America, which is fresh meat for any DJ to take advanted of, as well a huge challenge. Not any DJ can conquer South America.. only the previlege few have been able, taking out of conext Colombia, which Id say is the only Country in South America where Acosta and other Locals have been able to filtrate into. Brasil is another, but anything leaning towards EDM music in South America is pretty much underground.. is all about the flyers, the prestige of the event, whose sponsering it, etc etc etc.. no parents in South America with go with the youngies to this EDM events, down there is extremely different in those terms hehehe.. but then again, Holland and the rest of Europe are way ahead, so whatever happens over there.. it will take a bit for that trend to reach down in South America, unless there's a huge sudden explosion, which is what's really going on down there now. ;-)
