Not totally sure if this qualifies, but...
In the earlier days, Tiesto had a series of albums called 'Forbidden Paradise'. We're talking '94-'96 here, I think. It seems damn impossible to find any of those albums to buy, so the only resort seems to be D/L. :(
Anyways, Forbidden Paradise 8 - Mystic Swamp opens with a spectacular tune:
Moonstruck - Lunar Outbreak
This is the classic trance tune that reinforced my love for the music, but I've never heard anybody even mention it or the Forbidden Paradise series for that matter. It's borderline tribal-trance with a spectacualr bassline to it - I love this song. ;)
I urge you all to get your hands on this tune. :D |

Yeah, those are really good albums, and very rare as you say.
They are the only albums I've seen from a big-name DJ that feature tracks from Aura (Energy Transpose on FP 3, Planet-S on FP 4 ), tying into the Aura thread elsewhere in these forums.
Aura - Pointbreak
is another track in the theme of this thread - excellent trance track, yet virtually unknown, as is the grop as a whole. |

However, this song is worth listening to: "Killerloop - chi-mai" it's incredible !! from "Dj Energy - Astroid" album
As someone mention previously, "Airwalker - Tuned Universe" thats a good choice too. "photon project - illumination" and "litt - stramt (John Storm)" both from ITWT Extra
I wouldn't say spoiled & zigo is "no one else has heard of" but its Great though..

In addition to progressive (and standard) trance, I'm also really into goa/psy-trance: that automatically makes these tracks less known, but I believe they are mostly unrecognized even within the goa community. |

Yup the Forbidden Paradise albums are great and I believe you may be able to get some here in Holland but I thought FP 7 was the last edition mixed by Tiësto ...?!
