Kafein trance lounge

this thursday night I went to Kafein lounge where they play trance music. 1428 Bishop street
and I'm not prooving that trance doesn't work in montreal...
DON'T START ARGUYING ON THAT AGAIN
but the place was empty.
around 10 persons were there... and were chatting while some epic trance was played by the dj ... who also looked like a barman.
(the decks were next to the bottles)
and I told myself that... even if its good music, its not that type of place. The place is so small, and so empty, that left 5 minutes after getting in.
But one interesting thing about this place is that they sell "shisha"
Yes that arab smoking "device"...:clown:
so if you ever plan of smoking shisha, it would be an idea on smoking there instead of some hippy café.
but nothing beats smoking at home :toothless |

U know what Charlie man, Kafein is like that cause the owner (and nothing against him cause he's a friend) doesnt put much emphasis on promoting the place and attracting the crowd (only when they opened), they usually have mostly their friends over and don't do much customer service to their clients (exept for the ladies.....), bassita kill il arabs heyk!!
But even lacking these things its still a good place with good shisha |

anyways... its not a club, there's no dancefloor.

speaking of kafein
tomorow nite my friend rented the place out for a halloween party, ill be there spinning the deephouse beats
but pleaze guys if u wanna smoke a good shisha, dont go there. its like if mcdonalds offered shawarmas and shish taouk. would u got to mcdees for a shawarma? (i hope u get my drift)
kafeein is a beatiful place. like seriously. but there is a bit overpriced and the manager is an ass. |

The place is really nice....(decoration wise)
however, it's too small, expensive, shishas = bad idea, it's too small and packed (not people wise, but chairs wise - they have HUGE chairs) that a shisha MUST break everynight there......sad....
i never knew they had decks though, i know they used winamp before and just put the playlist on shuffle....:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
anyway, halloween at kafein, not a bad idea, but just too small - enjoy.... |
