I will be looking for a huge upgrade on my personal behalf in the next 6 to 12 months.
I was thinking of buying either (two)CDJ 800's or Finalscratch & a laptop. Both come out to about the same. Keep in mind of course I am buying this stuff on ebay.
I already have (two) CDJ 800's that I use. But they are my roommates and I dont like asking him, oh can I use the cd decks tonight? Like when I have mobile gigs and stuff.
He also has a DJM600. (which i also dont own) SO I am going to need a mixer also which one should I get? I really like the DJm 600 any others that are better?
Keep in mind I will be getting new gear in about 6 months two a year.
I have to save up I just spent $1200 on a new Dj Sound system. |

I'd say go for the cdj's over the final scratch. i think its better for you to be familiar with those b/c if you ever plan of playing in clubs, its more common that they have those. i'm not sure what the difference in price is but maybe consider getting the 1000's instead of the 800's
the djm500/600 are great mixers. the 600 has built in effects and is a lot more money, so if you don't need them, get the 500 |
