Monster Massive afterthoughts! (pg. 4)

this was my 3rd time going to monster massive and was mostly excited cuz of the lineup...got there around 8:30 - 9:00. listened to reza up i dont know how many n times, just n horrible!...luckily i wasnt rollin yet :D ....then i headed to the bottom of the escalators where i met sr22, dj woody and some others i cant remember right now...headed back to the main room for some pete tong, goddamn!, ive never heard this guy live and he n blew me away!!...crazy ass set he threw down...then edgar v came on, i dont know but it seems like i was the only one that wasnt really feelin him cuz im noticing that all of you are posting and saying he was handlin it. I kinda felt bad for ol boy cuz during his set people started to chant "paul van dyk", "paul van dyk"....but man when he got on he n tore the n roof off da bitch, damn track after track he didnt let up!!...he seemed to be enjoyin himself too, not like when he was here in san diego awhile back...overall i would have to say that after going to 2 other monster massives this was by far the best one out of all of them!!...i havent seen a lineup this good from goventures since together as one back in 99'...hope they continue on bringin these types of lineups!...i hope everyone had as much fun as i did...sorry no pics i didnt even attempt to bring a digi camera cuz of not getting it in, but now im pissed for not trying :mad: ....hopefully the ones that recorded these sets can put them up for sharing, or any video too

I put a little video in the picture thread.
I went to my first MM back in 1999, and through the years this one had to be one of the better ones for sure. The last 2 years, attendance was really down, then again that whole scene was changing. I thought the sound was excellent for the most part. Overall it was one hell of a night, thanks to unlimited Vodka Redbulls:eyespop: |

OMG!!!!!! What an awesome night. It was great meeting a lot of you TA's, DJ Xtracktor, Orbital, DjWoody, etc...... Michelle, you did a fantastic job setting up the TA meet up at the bottom of the escalators!

Not the first time in my life, but yeah, I'm on the same exact page. I was in the house room (if you call outside a room:D) all night long. Every second I was out there, I just danced my ass off. Junior Jack and Kid Creme made me dance the hardest by far, they put on such an epic show! Like SVG, it was my girl's first rave and first roll. Do you think she had a good time? HELL ING YES SHE DID! |

:mad: Don't get me started on the Security at Monster Massive! They where a buch of PRICKS! First I could not take my Cam. in and I showed then there was no way it could take pictures. (I hid my memory card ;)) Then when I went to go get the signs from Jesse they would not let me bring those in! So I had to throw them away!!:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: Then they gave me more hassle when I went to give them my ticket. After I got in I started yelling at them.:mad: :mad: Jesse had to go alllll they way back to the hotel to put everything back!
Once inside it was all good :) I ran into some TA's in the house area then went to the meet upspot. It was all most 10 when I got in to the main room.
WHOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!! Thanks to all those that made it to the meet-up!! It was nice meeting many of you :) Next time we have a meet-up we should talk more... we don't bite!:stongue: After the meet-up it was time to get my dance on!!
I pretty much stayed in the main room.. but after reading the reviews it sounds like I should have ventured out to the house area. Oh well. The last time I saw Pete Tong I was reallllly impressed so I did not want to miss his set, and I also wanted to see Jules and the others.
This time Pete was ok.. Not Great. But he did have some sick sick tracks in his sets. Then Judge Jules was Pretty good as well. He seemed to have the longest set of the night! He kept going and going and going. I enjoyed much of his set. After Judge is was Eger V and he was GREAT!! There was one track that Eger played before PVD came on that made my mouth drop!:eyes ( it was 3 before he ended I think ;)) Finally PVD came on and he blew me away. I tought this set was better then the one he did at the Mayan imo.. His set at the Mayan was very very hard.. This set he bulit it up and kept the enegy there. All the tracks he spun where amazing!!! At 3:30 my back was killing me so I had to stop dancing every way I moved, shot this pain threw my body. My back is not used to go-go boots ;)
This had to be the best Monster Massive I have been too!! This was my 4th Annual. It was also the most packed! The main room was packed from the stage alllll the way to the back :):)
Here are the highlights of the night.
1. Hanging you with the TA's after the meet-up we pretty much stook together! WHOOOO HOOOOO!! All of you are AWESOME!!! :)*HUG*

Lowlights:
1. Some Dude that was so gone all most fell on me!
