have fun. i wish i could make that show but i'm leaving for NY at 5:30pm that day.

but i'll have my choice of DJs in NY - Oakie, G&D, or Judge Jules :thepirate

actually i wouldn't mind checking out G&D again. i have heard they've improved as DJs quite a bit since they were at Vision with James Holden earlier this year. i've been digging their Bloom CD, and although i know you don't like them because they have the same G&D sound in all their songs, i somewhat tend to like that sound, so it's not really a bad thing in my mind. i might give 'em another shot.

i wouldn't mind seeing Oakie (i know he gets bad reviews, but i thought his Summerfest show was awesome. then again, i was far from being clear-headed and sober.), but he's playing on Thanksgiving and i have a huge party to go to on Thanksgiving with a bunch of people i haven't seen in like 2 years, so i probably won't make it down for that.

although i'll probably end up doing nothing since im broke.

They were pretty good when they were here a month or two ago. They played a lot of good tracks, including quite a number from Bloom. I'd recommend staying on the floor for them though, rather than be near the booth, because there's really not much to see, as they mainly mix from their laptop.

I had a blast Saterday!! I came into Vision seeing nothing in the dj booth and was like, what!! I turned around to see the stage and Video screens and was like oh yeah, Sander is gonna use the DVDJ's. NICE. Mazi really outdid Sander, from what I saw. I did leave around 350, so I guessed I missed some stuff. I cant belive he dropped Song 2 I ing love that song, combining rock and dance, so much energy!!! To be hnoest I wasnt that impressed with the screens either, I mean it was cool but I thought it was gonna blow my mind! I was a little down so maybe I shouldnt be to harsh on Sander. I did pick up This is Everybody too last night and I cant stop listening to it. I havent even gotten to disc 2 yet!! Anyway awesome to see so many TA's, nice meeting Seneca. Sorry I left and didnt tell you guys I was splitting, I had to wake up early and didnt really feel all that great. Did he end up dropping Spektrum?? I cant wait to see Mazi again, when he opens up for Holden!!

the crowd went ing silly for that song. :)

the screens were okay, but when i talked to princess she mentioned something about a laser show, and i think that would've been cooler. there was this one elusive guy that came in every so often with a green laser machine that he kept pointing up at the disco ball.

whatever happened to that laser that shot out from above the DJ booth? do they still use that anymore?

Great night indeed! Mazi was fantastic as always and Sander was great too. There were definitely some great tracks spun by both guys. The whole dvdj thing was cool. I started to lose steam towards the end cos of lack of sleep and those coronas. But I managed to stay awake. On the way home too, but it was hard.

The setup threw me off too. I was on the floor for like five minutes kinda dancing and then realized where Mazi was. That threw off the whole "behind the dj booth" thing. Ah well.

Nice to see ya out again Seneca

HAHAHA! That was hilarious. I hope that girl goes to see Oakenfold, because I want to marry her. Sure it'll get expensive supporting her alcohol or drugs, but there will never be a dull moment. 30 years from now I might start getting tired of her, until we go see Sander Kleinenberg Jr. and she can provide some more entertainment!
