Just got back to Chicago off the red-eye from Portland.
Ferry in Vegas was definitely worth the trip down to Vegas. Boomer pestering Ferry for Gouryella and being called a dick were hilarious. Too bad I left my camera in the trunk of Boomer's car, sigh.
Most surreal moment of the night was when the "cracked out lady" (as Boomer called her) pulled down her pants in the DJ booth to have Ferry sign her ass, then when the light board operator came over shaking his head Boomer commented on her mental state and he says "That's the owner of the club, what can you do?".
Oh, Boomer, did you get all your stuff moved on Sunday?
Hehe.

yeah...still waiting for pictars or a link to em...plenty of cameras were around...and "The Club" film crew seemed to be doing some last taping and stuff...so that was pretty "interesting".
Awesome awesome night....still can't believe we pulled that off. And yeah...l'm still recovering from my Huevos Rancheros I had during brekkie at the rock w/ boomer and Mr.S.
And I bet if you asked Ferry today if he has Cordory in his box...he'd probably say "I don't think I have it" ... We had a great time....it looks like he had a great time too...even if the champagne helped. So much more fun when the dj gets interactive....
wooohooo....ok gotta get packed up and jet out of Kelowna for another day of flyin |

and a few more...

of course it wasn't until the next day that i figured out what setting on my camera is used for taking shots of fast moving stuff.
Ferry's set was great though, very typical Ferry stuff. i started getting real exhausted towards the end (3 straight days of partying + high heels + being in a club with no where to sit = hell), but i held out and had a good time regardless.
i think i have more fun seeing him in Chicago (i might be biased), but i'm just so used to being at Vision, and with a crowd that is more into the music rather than all the damn tourists in Vegas.
but i still had an awesome time. and it was cool to party with TAs in Vegas! :thepirate |

Present and accounted for in pictar #4...
...I keep telling my weekend story to the people I fly with...most of whom are older, have families, say what is "trance", and when I say Ferry Corsten, they just shrug...they think I'm crazy. But for sure, they know I had more fun than they did going to see Peter Paul and Mary revival in some podunk town outside of PDX.
