this is cool... lot of stuff goin on...

but man, where's the bass??... it sounds like you passed a hi-pass filter through this song.. bring out the bass on this song PLEASE, it sounds really good as it is and with the bass brought out it will sound amazing

You think? The distorted synth ya hearing is meant to be bass but I think it just adds to the overall hard-ish atmosphere of the tune, lol. An the bass sounded better in the sequencer.

agreed, there is a definite lack of any kind of bass throughout this sample. listen to the kick right from the start.
i think overall the elements are all sharing the same kind of sonic space, meaning frequency, panning and type of sound - all distorted sawish sounds. when the nice synth line at 0:23 comes in, i think it needs to have it's own space, to give it the focus.
having said that, i think with just a little bit of work on the mixing, you can go a long way with this. there are some great elements in here. and i absolutely love the snare roll / cymbal at 1:42 - excellent!

What do you use to remix?

REALLY dont like the bassdrum! Needs to be punchier and more in your face style...

Like the acids alot, but as its already been said it needs more sub bass in there. I think you should take the snare roll out and put some other FX in there, makes it more interesting...

Sample is too short to comment on other stuff, so thats all i got :)

Not bad, keep at it

I agree with the guys. I like the ideas but the bass drum seems a bit faint. do re post when it sorted. good stuff.
