Here's a 20 minutes long video highlighting the best moments of his 4h+ set at Aria in May 2004. It was really hard to pick the best from over 3 hours of footage of an amazing performance coming straight from Zabiela's magical fingers.

Don't forget that he will be back at Aria on November 27th.

Who was helping you film Malek? was it Louis? cuz a few times I saw you chatting in the VIP

Just a side note, I think you overused the slow mo function, I find it kind of annoying, as it makes it seem like my computer just can't handle the video. But other than that, top notch.

Also is there a roof camera you were using?

Thanks for the feedback.

Yes I forgot to mention it was Louis who helped me filming :) Thank you Louis ;)

Slowmo effect was done at the time of filming on the camera, so I cannot undo it at edition time. I do it because it is SO dark sometimes (especially during a good moment) that I need to slow down the shutter to catch more light, but the drawback is that it slows the image and leaves trails.

So it was either loosing good moments or having them slowed down :/

and the roof camera = I was filming on the balcony :)

Malek, that was an awesome video :) I watched the full 20 minutes of it!

Looked like an awesome night... makes me REALLY want to see him in a couple weeks! Might just have to force my lazy self to go back to aria again ;) Too bad by the time he played Ficta - Eli, the dancefloor was getting empty =/ That's one of my favourite tracks ever.

As for feedback on the video, I thought the bits where you took two pictures and had them meshed together was really sweet, especially the one with the girl dancing with the turntables in the foreground as she turns into a silhouette. Nice steadiness with the camera, and great angles. What video camera do you have now anyway, I'm curious?

it was getting empty by 9-11 which is normal but hey at least he played it :p

that night I used a Sony PD-170, a great mini DV camera. I ain't rich enough to buy one, but I can rent it whenever i want ;)

Well, another great Malek production - usually, i'd prefer having the uncut set as the background music, but wid Zabiella and his effects, you can not not listen to his music as he's applyin his skills....
great vid malek - pffft, comme d'habitude...

Nacht (Steve right?) he's gonna b here the night after Oakie, so the 27th of Nov.
