Hey
I personally went to see tiesto and was amazed, it was an extreamly uplifting set and I loved the track selection. I could not go see mt fave dj that wednesday since I had 2 tests the next day but if you knew any of my friends, I was sad that I could not go. I personally prefer van dyk better since he is more focued on his music as apposed to getting the crowd pumped by waving his hands and such. Paul can get the crowed pumped by solely his music... I personally think he is a better dj out of the two but they are at the same level. It is honestly a personal opinion....
Like swaper said, PVD RULES!

p.s. any bootleg the pvd or tiesto set? It will be greatly appreciated the pvd set since I missed it because of school... have a heart :( My e-mail is: [email protected] |

I'm not even going to read all the posts, the topic is bad enough.....how can you say PvD's set sucked?!?!
I was there right up front at the stage, and I had one of the most amazing nights of my life, nice crowd, and amazing tracks no matter what anyone else says.....After seeing both live, I can say Tiesto and PvD should NOT BE COMNPARED TO EACH OTHER!!!!!
thats all, they really have different styles, and I love them both, but dont say PvD is not great! |

I had a great nite @ PVD, but I'm sorry, I just had a better time @ Tiesto... nothing wrong with PVD, it's just that he plays different style of trance, and even tho it was good, I liked the selection of tunes Tiesto had a bit more...
And to FASTDJMP3 - Muhhahhahahahahaa! You crack me up too! (My guess is the guy is still plastered from that grass I sold him on Wednesday @ PVD)... |

could some of pvd lovers answer this for me?
why are PVD's sets so disorganized? its like he just throws some tracks together that dont go together? and even if he connects 2 or 3 nice tracks together, the 4th one is just something totally different and he kills the vibe with it! technically theyre mixed flawlessly, but if they dont go together, thats just sad.... :) |

PVD is damn good.........
The reason he is "Dead, with no emotions" is because he puts all his attention and emotion into his set............that's what made him a professional and his pure trance set so great
|
Ok, you obviously haven't seen PVD live before, because that night PVD looked as if he didn't want to spin at all. Usually when he spins, he's showing all types of emotions... he'll jump here and there, pump his fist serveral times and SMILE!!!.. He didn't do any of these during his set at the Guv, the only time he smiled the whole night was when he played "For An Angel" and that was it! His set was still good, mixing skills were at 100%(made no mistakes whatso ever) but definitely not close to one of his better more energetic sets. |
