Ok... So opinions for me :eyespop:

I have used Reason 1.0 before. I liked what it did. I hear that Reason 2.5 has much more synths and better samples. HOWEVER, people say that Cakewalk is much better all around. I haven't had the pleasure of using this Software, so can someone please inform me on the positives and negs por favor!

Thanks

BTW, Im having the hardest time finding goodwebsites with trancy/melodic breaks....  :( :(

I haven't even heard about someone producing trance with cakewalk. I'm sure it's possible but I'd go with cubase/fl studio/reason.

theres rarely any good or bad sequencers out there. just different ones with different means of achieving essentially the same thing.

IMHO, Cakewalk is not good for trance. I say that because I find it very "all over the place". FL, Cubase and Reason seem to me more organized and therefore, easier to use. I have Cubase SX 2.0 and Reason 2.5...they go great together. I'll probably get rid of Reason, though...if you're interested, let me know. I never registered it because I knew I was going to sell it eventually. :)

I had Logic Audio 5.5 Platinum 2 years ago and I didn't get along with it too well. It's not that the learning curve is high or anything, it's just that the interface was exactly like the Magix MIDI Studio 6 I had back in 2002. I gotta like what I see in order to be able to work with it, and honestly, it wasn't appealing to my eyes, hehe. IF it was the only sequencer in existence, I would've kept it, but having other choices, I got rid of it and bought Cubase. It's too easy to use and it's great for recording real-time.

Must say that FL Studio is one of the easiest packages I've ever picked up. For the amount of stuff built in the price its pretty awesome.

Thanks..
I will primarily be making trance and house tracks... I might do some remixing, but that will be at a later time. I would also like to invest in some Synths at some point. Im in the process of planning out a studio for multiple uses (Visual, audio)

Again thanks !:toocool: :toocool:
