| is dj tranz still around the forums. i read he worked at djmart and could help with the selection and some discounts but he hasn't responded to my e-mail. anyway, i need new cartridges what do people think of the stanton discmaster II. its pretty inexpensive so thats a motivator but how do you rank it? and before you reply, i tried search but the engine didn't return any results, hasn't it been down for a while. |

| I have a Stanton Trackmaster II sk, and it's a complete piece of . If the discmaster is anywhere near the same, stay far far away! - imho. |

Yea, he's not been round much lately. I'd try e-mailing him again @ [email protected] or you can get on the dj mart site and get the number and call him directly. |

| also, would either of these be able to match with a numark 1625? it came as the numark battle pack with cartridges mounted on headshells. |

what is your exact budget? and what type of music you mostly will be playing and for mixing or turntabalism(scatching 'n stuff)
also, numark tt1625 has a standard 4 pin tone arm, therefore any cartridge on our site will fit your turntable just fine.

| music is going to be mostly trance and prog but with some house too, primarily mixing. im looking at anywhere from $100 to $170, but if there is something that is worth the extra cash and good in quality that can last me for a while than im up for that. thanks for replying. |

| You dont need to be spending big bucks on DJ carts right away. Its just not necessary. Get the Shure M-44G, I got them and they work just fine. ;) |
