Best year to get into Trance...

What was the best year to get into this music? Some of the threads talk about how good it was back then in such year. It seems as if it was better few years back than it is now. So to the veterans and freshly converts out there: when was the best year to get into Trance?

Hey guys I was wondering, is it possible to pick a specific year of which you are able to say "that was the year that trance was invented", if so what year (I'd be guessing around 90-91-92)?
Or did trance evolve into what it is now over so many years that you can't really pinpoint a particular year? |

Why? If you got into trance in 2002 but you do a research to know what music was made before and you are able to tell what you like and what you dislike, it's fine. |
