Anyone ever heard of the PS2 game Kinetica? Well I hadn't until just a little while ago when I was trying to track down a copy of Amoeba Assassin - Robots. Turns out that it's on the soundtrack to that game...the only place I've found it other than the original vinyl release. The other tracks on the album are just as good. SCEA Announces Kinetica Soundtrack
Heavy on the electronic sounds, naturally, which should suit Santa Monica's future world nicely.
September 18, 2001 - Today, SCEA announced the list of electronic music tracks that will compose the score to Kinetica, the futuristic PlayStation 2 racer coming soon from Sony's Santa Monica studios. As expected, few of the names should be familiar to anyone save electronica devotees, but gamers might recall Hybrid for their contributions to the SSX soundtrack (an edited version of their "Finished Symphony" played over the Untracked level). Presented for your edification, then, the list, with album information where available.

Now this isn't exactly new information, but it certainly suprised me to come upon it. This seems like an awesome album...one that I would like to have, if it existed, as it seems like the only way I can get a copy of Robots in light of my lack of a turntable
In closing... does anyone know if there's a way I can get the soundtrack to this game w/o actually having to listen to it in game? Was an album ever made, or if I bought the game itself could I rip the soundtrack on to my computer (for my own private use, of course)?
Don't know if this is the right place to post a request such as this, but I thought it would be interesting to bring to people's attention even if no one knows how I can get it.
