John Kerry: Military Idiot

Sometimes I wonder if Mr. Monday morning general is really this stupid, or is it his strange skull structure that is putting pressure on that part of his brain which controls memory and rational thought?

OCT 2004 - John Kerry

Calling Afghanistan " a botched operation in which Bush let Osama bin Laden get away because he outsourced bin Ladens capture to Warlords in the battle of Tora Bora."

Dec 2001 - John Kerry on National Television speaking of Tora Bora.

"What we are doing,I think is the best way to protect our troops and sort of minimalize the proximity, if you will-
not throwing American lives away in tunnels and caves in alien territory. I think we have been doing this pretty effectively and we should continue to do it that way

Wait--you mean he didn't realize there was a microphone?!?! It amazes me. He does this ALL THE TIME, yet continues to get a pass because the leftist media doesn't want to call him on it.

Obviously Kerry is a candidate that will say anything to get elected. He changes his mind more time than he changes his underwear.

Speed, if I seem a tad bit out of line today, I hope you forgive me tomorrow. I'm simply just a bit fired up today, so here's my simple rebuttal:

I CANNOT TELL IF YOU ARE BEING BLATANTLY DISHONEST OR SIMPLY MISLED, BUT EITHER WAY YOU'RE A FREAKING TOOL FOR NOT RESEACHING THIS FURTHER!!!!!

Have you even bothered to look at this in context? Seriously, have you? Jesus Christ, it would help once in a while if you actually did know what the hell you were ing talking about! Let me take your hand and guide you down memory lane......

When Kerry had stated this, it was on Larry King Live 12/14/01. The question that was asked of him from which he replied to this was the following by a caller:

quote:
"Yes, I would like to ask the panel why they don't use napalm or flamethrowers on those tunnels and caves up there in Afghanistan?"

From which Kerry replied sensibly:

quote:
"Well, I think it depends on where you are tactically. They may well be doing that at some point in time. But for the moment, what we are doing, I think, is having its impact and it is the best way to protect our troops and sort of minimalize the proximity, if you will. I think we have been doing this pretty effectively and we should continue to do it that way."

IOW, Kerry was stating that napalm and flamethrowers were not the answer in Tora Bora. In no way was Kerry responding to Bush's tactics of utilizing Afghanistan warlords, bub, to track to bin Laden. He was stating in direct response to flamethrowers and napalm use.

And oh, so strangely, Congressman Cunningham (R-CA) agreed wholeheartedly with Kerry's tactical assessment of using napalm and flamethrowers as he explained further:

quote:
Cunningham: "I think Senator Kerry is right on the mark. To use a flamethrower, you've got to get right into the area close in. And plus, it doesn't penetrate that deep in those tunnels. You've got to go in there after him. So I think you have to neutralize that threat. And then you can get him out in a lot of different, various ways including what the gentleman spoke about."

Here, have a looksee yourself:

As I said, I apologize if I may be a bit out of line, but this last minute bull propaganda will not fly with me. Now go vote you bastards!
Dj_Irish
heh, try rebuting that one.

Good call MisterOpus1...As usual...

Reminds me of the SNL special last night...

Kerry: "I am pro-war with the pro-war crowds, and I am the anti-war candidate in front of anti-war crowds. That's not flip-flopping, that's pandering!"
