Hey I used to rank IND pretty highly. But after that pathetic performance I have a new set of world rankings:
1. Australia
2. England / Sri Lanka
3. New Zeland.
What do you guys think? |

England (apparently, don't know for myself for sure cos I don't follow their results) are pretty good against everyone but Australia.
I think once India get their batsmen sorted out they will return to their best. They probably do have the best batting lineup in the world with Dravid, Tendulkar, Ganguly, Sehwag and Laxman. When those five guys are in form they will be very hard to beat, just on batting performance alone.
South Africa have been on a downer recently,
New Zealand improving but a little way from top
West Indies I haven't been watching
Sri Lanka, nah, only that chucker is any decent
trancy spacer is probably on the right track, but India will bounce back in a big way when they next play any one else, so I'd probably rate them in the top 3, top 5 definitely. |

Sangakkara is damn good i reckon - 1000 runs for the year in both tests and ODIs (plus he's their keeper).
Vaas is also pretty good (chosen in both ICC world XIs).
Safrica...no way they are second...they lost 4-1 to NZ and 5-0 to SL.
Also ENG are pretty good (this is a recent thing btw = P ) |
