been needing to upgrade my mixer for some time, its about the most basic 2ch out there
2phono/line inputs
3EQ knobs for each channel
gain, trebble, & bass (trebble & bass knobs lol)
and thats it as far as channel control goes
http://www.gemsound.com/flash.html the DJM-1
been looking at various mixers in the $200-$500 range
is there any usefull info out there about Stantons SMX-401, im looking at that one, the PCV175/275
how much in US does a xone 92 go for? badass mixer.. prefer the linear model |

i think youll need more than 1000$ for the xone. try ebay or get it used, if you have the 500$ id say go for a 4 channel mixer and forget the stanton 401 its not bad at all for start but if you can get something better...
i think that you prob can get a pioneer djm-500 (or even 600) with 550-600. |

| The Xone92 is about $1500. It's hard to stop wanting one though. |

| I have the SMX-401. It's not that great. Get the Vestax PCV-275. That's a real hot mixer for the price. Wish I had bought it instead. |

yea but the vestax doesnt have full kill eq. thats y i didnt got the smx-401. and after all if he can get a used djm, then why the vestax?

| PCV275 is the best bet out of those three for sure. |
