Sup, so im headed to Cuba for jan 22nd to the 30th, to Club Amigo Mayanabo in Santa Lucia, which is in the Camaguey region i believe. Wondered if anyone's been to the region or to that resort in particular, if so, what were your impressions with it/how was your stay? Also, got any general advice for travelling around Cuba? Any good sites in the area I should definitely check out? Keep in mind i can't travel too far since its a trip with some dojo members and we'll be training exclusively on some days. Should be pretty in sweet to wake up, go swimming or snorkelling, try some of the club facilities, train for a few hours on the beach with the others, then head outside to check out what Santa Lucia and surrounding area has to offer.
newayz any advice or knowledge on the area is wanted.
oh yea, and is only a basic understanding of the spanish language acceptable? or should i study up? my pronounciation is ait but i generally suck with romance languages. and somehow i doubt dutch and english will do outside of the resort... |
