complete BS if u ask me... thats horrible and unjust! i dont even understand why its a problem.. serious, i think its absolutely RIDICULOUS
jesus christ, i just dont understand ppl sometimes! |
you and me both :(
The U.S. is taking a step backwards...a step back towards conservatism (supposedly) based upon intolerent Christian values...as far as I'm concerned, the Chrisitian Right can take their 50+ % divorce rate and "sacred institution" of marriage and go themselves.
What an embarassment for the U.S. The only people in the world who don't think so are those who voted for Bush...and Isreal. But yeah, I suppose the rest of the world is just jealous or ingorant, lol
What's funny is that people who dislike Bush's gov't have a plethora of reasons to give why they feel that way...but virtually no supporter I've heard seems to have specific reasons why they LIKE him! I'd love for there to be some way to poll people in this regard...there seems to be so much blind faith in Bush...and support for him as a backlash to the rest of the world who hates him. "We need a strong leader". What the does that even mean??? a strong leader...he's a militant idiot...THAT is a strong leader??? ok then  |

I've heard there's a tiny bit of free space up north that could accomadate the disgruntled non-redneck US population. How do you feel about lots of snow, -40 degs not counting wind chill, cuddly polar bears and igloo's ? :D |

| Anybody who calls people who voted for Bush "rednecks" clearly doesn't understand the make-up of the republican party... |

Rednecks are generally defined as "rural laboring class" people.
%'s that voted for Bush (% in bracket is % of total population):
INCOME:
$50-75,000 (23%) 56%
$75-100,000 (14%) 55%
$100-150,000 (11%) 57%
$150-200,000 (4%) 58%
$200,000 or More (3%) 63%
$50,000 or More (55%) 56%
$100,000 or More (18%) 58%
Doesn't look like a laboring class to me.
UNION MEMBER:
No (86%) 54%
ANYBODY IN HOUSEOLD IN A UNION:
No (76%) 55%
Doesn't look like a laboring class to me.
EDUCATION LEVEL:
College Graduate (26%) 52%

SIZE OF COMMUNITY:

Doesn't appear rural to me. |

| urban can be considered anyone in a town or city. But no doubt that the rural states are the ones that took Bush to the white house. Just look at the map. |

Just becuase someone may live in a rural area does not make one a redneck or a "laboring class" individual. |
