He's trying to explain why they are not calling Bush like everyone else... and he's stumbling through his words... saying they are being accurate... yada yada yada...
Watching him from the beginning of this evening, to now, his face has fallen, and he looks like he's 15 years older then he was when he started...

He knows damned well he's through...

He can't talk anymore... LOL It's turning into a comedy for CBS...

I think he should seriously consider retiring after the election is over. He still owes the president a serious apology and I hope he does the proper and gentlemanly thing and offers it to him.

congrats Bush/Cheney!!

I did notice at one point in the night, that while most news networks had the vote at 269-211, CBS was reporting 249-242--clearly a standout. Whatever, in the end, they will all have to come to the same conclusion.

Reminds me of a prominent ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) reporter on Election Night here in Australia about a month ago.

He was so pissed off when our ty, right-wing, conservative Prime Minister Howard got voted back in. He looked like he was about to cry! :stongue: :stongue: :stongue: :stongue:

The leader of the opposition (who was running against our leader in the election) summed him up best: "Arselicker"
(in reference to Dubya Bush and sucking up to the US)

CNN had the same as CBS, at least until I stopped watching around midnight PST.
