Thats right. The provisional votes for Ohio won't be counted for 11 days and Ohio is where this election will be determined it appears.
There are around 200,000 still out there in Ohio. Guaranteed Kerry will not concede until every Ohio vote is counted. This could take awhile folks. Bush/Cheney supporters don't celebrate too soon!

Jeez this is close! Lots of provisional votes still out there also.

Ohio, Iowa, Wisconsin and Nevada all too close to call still.

It won't matter if Bush takes 20 electoral votes from elsewhere. Nevada + Iowa + New Mexico + Alaska = 20. That's enough, and the polls right now are in his favor to do so.

Plus, the provisional ballot counts have been way overstated by the Kerry campaign to create doubt. There are fewer than 50,000 in strong Democrat counties.

The secretary of state has gave the number of provisional votes at 150,000. Kerry campaign 250,000. So i took the middle figure.

Update, good news Bush just pulled ahead a bit in Nevada

You can't count Alaska in your figure. Alaska has already been given to Bush for his current 269.

My bad...you're right. I'm still figuring this without our own state in the mix. Drop Alaska and another state, and replace with Wisconsin.

Doesn't matter really. Bush will speak tonight as soon as they call NM. I'm tired, hungry, and going home. Kerry will be the one fighting against the "will of the voters."

Woo hoo!!
It's over!

The secretary of state of Ohio just declared that there are not enough provisional votes out there to to be able put put Kerry ahead of Bush.

So Bush has Ohio and the presidency! it doesn't matter what the remaining states have, it's over. Now we are just waiting for the official declaration and for Kerry to concede. He should do this very soon.

Congrats
Bush/Cheney and all supporters

Yeah not 100% of the provisional ballots will go for kerry anyways. and if it goes to a tie he gets owned in the house.
