The problem is idiots who dont know trying to "pile it on" and jump on the Bush wagon. A lot of people liked Bush JUST because a LOT of people didnt like him. Just human nature to be confrontational. |

And a lot of people "Liked" Kerry, just because they didn't "like" Bush. It's a 2 way street. I agree with you that human nature(At least gut reactions) is often confrontational/combative. At least in many cases.
Still, the best thing those who are upset today can do for themselves is to rise above their anger, show some character, and be gracious. Just because they didn't get their man for President doesn't mean they can't still lobby for changes they see fit. Democracy exists far beyond the presidency. |

Smitty, when will you accept that you are just a jilted Canadian, with an opinion that no one gives two s about because you could not vote and did not vote in the American election. If you really wanted to put your money where your mouth is, which I doubt you would, then you would move to the USA and actually attempt to do something for the country. Look at Arnold, not American born but at least he is trying to do something good for the country. |
