the Cannucks WISH that map was true :p They'd love to expand further south, where the waters ara actually warm and winters dont freeze over 95% of the country.

If you asked everyone in Canada if they wanted to move to the US today, VERY FEW people would say yes, on the other hand, if you aksed everyone in the US if they wanted to move, i think a lot more people would do it. |

What you ask and what you get are two very different numbers.
Fewer than 20,000 Americans went to Canada last year, even with all of the people screaming about the war. The rate has been about 20,000/year for the past four years. Canadians - mostly highly educated - get US citizenship or work permits at the rate of over 100,000/year.
20,000 in a nation of 280 million is nothing. 100,000 in a nation of ~33 million is significant. |
