to find some guy lying face first in the lobby. I called the cops and 5 mins later when they arrive he's gone. Boy did i feel like the idiot until the description i gave matched some guy who they are looking for for beating up his wife tonight!
I guess the landlord will be getting locks now!! |

| when i lived on queen st, we had a resident homeless man that always tried to sleep inbetween the doors, and i lived above a restaurant so his sleeping in there was DIRECTLY against our locked door - pure fire hazard..but he was good when we kicked him out.... |

this is a tricky subject. as much as people dont like to admit it, spousal abuse does happen the other way around as well.
if the guy hit her in self defence, i say its fine. but if he just beat her up cause he is a jerk, then he needs to go jail.
women cant be excused for abuse, just because they are women. gotta love double standards! people will claim that its not a fair fight. but a women(who throws the first punch) should relize that ahead of time, and know that its natural for somebody to defend themsleves.
would a small nerd pick on a big jock? no cause he knows retaliation(from a stronger opponent) would be on the way. |
