Hi All

Just wanted to tell you about a new trance/techno label starting soon in the UK! Heres the press information:

Thanks :D

High Fish Recordings Press Release

With the current state of today’s trance and techno scene’s we are left with an influx of extremely talented producers and a shortfall of companies to release their material. That’s where the brains behind High Fish want to make a difference… Iain Cross, Jon the Baptist, Dave Spinout and Meri are ecstatic to present to you the launch of High Fish Recordings.

High Fish was originally setup in 1999 as a promotions team, releasing material on High Fish White and also being involved in many projects around the South West of England. Now in 2004, after gaining the support and backing of Dance Daddy Music, the team is ready to rock!

The first release, XLR Project’s “Ending the War”, is scheduled for December 2004 and has already received massive support, being a sure dance floor monster! Following on from that the future holds releases from new Production team Echoes and Proton, as well as remixes from Future Sound Corporations The Elite, and the UK’s best kept trance secret, Mantra.

Alongside High Fish Recordings comes the launch of High Fish Digital, managed and presented by Dave Spinout. Taking off in 2005 the label plans to have an open approach to different styles of trance and techno, making tracks available for download via the internet. With the overheads of releasing digital music being extremely low we hope to give some unknown names some exposure.

The High Fish team has many plans to put into action for 2005. With a goal to support many local acts to the UK, as well as featuring some more established names such as Ronnie Minder (a.k.a. DJ Passion of Shogun Records) and Kay D Smith of Drizzly, the sound of high fish is about to touch down…

Good luck with it.

What sort of sound are you trying to promote?

Thanks for your support :) the sound we want to go for would probably be described as trance, but with a slightly harder, more energetic edge to it..We also plan to release some techno in the future too.

The first release by XLR Project has come from the same group who do the projects G+M Project and 2 Players, so hopefully the sort of energy they create in their tracks will show in this one!:D

Thanks once again for your support!

I'll def keep an eye out for it, sounds like my style........

Any new label that brings out more quality trance should definitely be supported
