[Reason] Need a good arranger/co-producer

Hey guys,

I'm currently working on a couple of tracks.
Now my problem with producing decent trance-music, is I always fail to work it out till the end. I have some great ideas, and melodies, but just can't seem to work it out. I have alot of unfinished tracks...
Now my question is: is there somebody feeling the urge to help co-producing or arranging something together? Attention: I use only Reason ;), altough if u think using something else could help, no offence...

hoping for some great replies...

Friendly greetings

hi Pheatus...

I have the same problem with u... i can do some good melodies...
but my mixdown is like .... till now im still learning it, going for a decent sound...

I can arrange my track... arranging Tracks.. just take a song to use as an example for the arrangement... i think the best arrangement of all trance music i've ever seen is RANK 1 - AIRWAVE (ORIGINAL MIX).... This tracks has a simple arrangement n very DJ Friendly... hehe..

if u find someone to arrange ur tracks... it will not be ur own work anymore ;) ....keep rocking dude!

Hope this answer u...

CHEERS!

i'm willing to help you out. depends on what version of Reason you have, though. mine is 1.01 (hoping to upgrade by new year)
Mr.Mystery
I've had huge troubles with inspiration lately so I'd be glad to work with your ideas, maybe it'd help me get back on track. I'm on Reason 2.5 :)

lackin' inspiration can be a real downer. I know, I've been suffering from it for the past week... up until about 10am this monring.

If you're looking for ways to change up your music or make mixdown easier, I suggest you take advantage of Reason's ReWire function. It allows you to actually import the audio generated from Reason intstruments into Cubase or Pro Tools, allowing you to mixdown properly without the restrictions of Reason's MIDI resolution. ReWire'ing into Pro Tools actually allows you to record audio tracks out of reason (with some routing tweaks) for editing, looping, and other manipulating.

If you'd like to know more, I'm up for going more in-depth, just send me a PM and or email and I'll see what I can do.

ow, nice replies guys! THANKS allready!

TOR I have version 2.5 wich could be a problem I guess? It would be nice if you worked on something, cause your reason skills are IMO very good! Is there a way I could transform everything back to 1.1? I think I have this version somewhere, and I don't use much of the new synths in 2.5 so I could transform it I guess...
Mystery, thanks too! Maybe we could do somekind of co-operation with the 3 of us? I'll PM you with the link to some of my rns files (TOR, hope I find the time to transform them!).

TDG, hmmm, I heard about ReWiring but never tried something with it. I never used Pro Tools before, so a quick tutorial would come very handy, thanks! Maybe you could even post it here in a new topic? I think alot of other TA's would like it too...

DJ Dinz, you're true in many ways, but I don't mind giving my songs to other people (not everyone though), as long as 'my' music is recognizable. For me, it's more important to have a decent, well arranged track then trying to accomplish it by my own and not being completely satisfied with it...
