Big difference between producing a track and remixing a track, I know he remixed the CD, but he didn't produce all of the tracks.

the tracks are actually just reworks of the original. the main hooks and other parts of the songs produced by the original artist remain (usually), but he might add new percussion or sounds to it to make it fit in the mix, and to give it that signature pvd feel. pretty much the same concept of what sasha was applauded for 'pioneering' on his involver mix cd . interesting to hear this though, im a big fan of pvd. :):)

but doing a remix involves doing the production. He takes a part of a track, the melody, or a bassline or something, and then does all of the rest of the production, thats what the CD is about.

what? he was way ahead of the game on this one, sasha has just done the exact same thing with involver this year.

yes i understand, i was just pointing out to that guy, who 'doesnt like PvD productions' or whatever, that every single track on the cd has production done to it in some form by PvD. So its very strange what he said...

Yes, I know what the cd is about. What are even arguing about. Let's just say if this POD 2 comes out, it will be good.

no nothing, its just been mentioned a couple of times, he wont even have started to work on it yet... so theres still a lot to do. A project like this could take over a year between him deciding to do it and completion.

sorry ive got the wrong end of the stick, what is it that you dont like?

Nell
heh, produced all the tracks, he wishes. adding a hi-hat really is cutting edge production these days apparently. His boriginal productions are extremely weak post-2002 imo. He can have the title of Re-Edit master from me, if that is worht anything.

I just got a bad taste in my mouth after Reflections. I can't get enough of his older productions though. My favorites are Step Right On and My World, but he seems to have drifted away from that quality.
