hiya,
does anyone know whether PVD's Gatecrasher sets on the 26 & 27.11.04 in London and Nottingham will be broadcast?
Would love to record the sessions.
Cheers

| Actually I think I read somewhere that tranceairwaves have plans to broadcast GC from Nottingham. Whether that's true or not, and whether pvd's set will be included I really don't know. |

correct, more info will be on TAW and an advert in Mixmag. I'm due to vist the arena on the 15th and check the technical side of things, but atm it looks fine to broadcast, as for which sets, we really dont know yet so wont even speculate.

endless broadcasts of sets to please a bunch of gimps on the internet. It ruins it for the people that ACTUALLY go to the thing, as the dj will have it in the back of their mind. |

lets see
broadcasts are aimed at people on the internet - yeh thats a given
it ruins it for people at the event, well lets see
djs have it in the back of their mind - yes they do, some even have it in the forefront of their mind, they dont want their latest track in the hands of the 1337 ripp0rz, and will adjust their sets accordingly ... or they will try and balance up playing for the crowd in the venue with playing for the crowd sitting at home, which is pretty for the people acutally there.
so, sorry no bollox there. |

i know the mindset of the dj that i would be going to the event to see, however going to an event for one dj is pretty pointless and i am not actually going. Still - if you broadcast PvD's set, which you probably wont, his set will not be as natural as it should be. This will probably bother someone who is going, it would definately bother me. |
