There's actually alot of good local talent in the Chicago clubs. Unfortunately, not all the clubs in the city have embarrassed EDM.
I have seen many talented local DJ's expanding their listernship beyond the city limits. This has help tremendously in re-building the EDM culture for Chicago.
I haven't see this much talent in EDM at the local level for Chicago since late 1980's when we had some of the best house DJ's in the world.
Let's not forgot that its not only Chicago but Detroit has a rising star named Kenneth Thomas.
The scene is really bubbling with talent and I think we are soon on the verge of a music revolution in the Midwest not seen since the invasion of house and techno in the 80's. |
