Beer on the Keyboard

F*ck, spilled a beer on the keyboard. Tried to soak up most of it, but WTF. Still working I reckon.

| Lucky, two years ago I spilled Sprite on mine and my 'L' key wasn't working. I unscrewed it and tried getting whatever wet that may have been there out, but then when I put it back together the 5 or so keys surrounding it didn't work. I then just called up the company that makes my PC and said it broke and got a free replacement :D |

Well, mine's still hanging in there... obviously. Although I got a backup in the closet. I buy stuff all the time like keyboards where you send in a rebate and get them free, so I've got mouses and keyboards and tons of f*cking CD-RWs on hand that cost me sales tax and postage for mailing in the rebates. Hmmm, don't need to pull out a backup yet. Keyboard might've needed a drink! Lol!!!

I had this experience with a can of Amp.
The keyboard worked fine for a few days after i let it dry out. About 6 days later. the 2,w,s,x, and space bar keys quit working. I reccomend pulling the spare one out, at least for a bit, and removing several keys around the area (possibly all the keys), and letting the keyboard rest upside down for awhile. If you have a dehumidifier put it behind that.
Then again, if youve got a spare keyboard, who cares if this one dies? |

About a quarter to a half beer at least, pretty good dousing. Waste of good alchol at that! Oh well, sh*t happens I reckon. These friggin computers; can't live with them and can't live without them as well. I've got some hardware backup because I'm running 4 computers online here at the house. Something always goes wrong somewhere.

| I've spilt water, coffee, and soda on different keyboards at random different times. I've just unplugged them and let them dry out, and they've always been fine. |

| oh my keyboard gets beer all the time. Just turn it upside down, shake it for a bit and you'll be fine. Except that the ctrl key sometimes keeps down when I hit it. |
