Blood Is Pumping - Main Synth

Hey everyone. I'm new to this board - my name's Bill Shillito, aka DM Ashura (DM standing for Digital Maestro, NOT Dungeon Master :P), and I've been working with FruityLoops for about 2 years or so now, my latest toy being FL Studio 4.5.2. Now before you groan and say "Oh , not another FL n00b", take a look at http://www.dmashura.com/music/ and listen to my stuff. Yeah, some of the earlier stuff sucks, but my three newest tracks are MaxX AttaxX, KlungKung 2004, and Vanity Angel (Seraphim Mix). I have somehow (mostly) gotten rid of "FL Syndrome" so it at least sounds somewhat good now... But I'm still WAY far away from being pro, I'd say.
Anyway, I'm now looking for how to create various types of synths. One synth that's intrigued me for a while is the main synth used in Blood Is Pumping by Voodoo & Serano. I e-mailed them yesterday and they said that they used a TB-303 to make the sound, but (obviously) they didn't tell me anything else. ^^;;
Anyway... does anybody have any idea how this sound can be made? (As far as I can tell, it's a distorted square wave... X_x)
Oh and feel free to AIM me at DMAshura! I'm on too much for my own good. :P

I was also thinking something along the same lines. I'd love to know how they get the sound for most of the Klubheads tracks.

well its sounds like a high distorted and resoed sync
Check out z3ta+
simillar sounds there
try put a dist on a sync and high its reso
and put a low bass too
mix them both

Yep, plus the square wave setting on the 303.
I don't see why you're so confused, they told you they used a 303, and you were able to pick out the distortion and the basic waveform:conf: |

| No way I love that song, don't diss. Public Domination makes a similar track with the tb-303. I love that I can make the exact same sound on my tb-303 with some distorion. |

But, before I had a tb-303 I made the sound with some distorion on some bass sound. Not that hard to get a reso bass and apply dist and get a sound that is almost exactly the same, or good enough at least. |

Higher States of Consciousness? Yep.
Err....but then again, Wink is also known to have ripped some material from other people. TTA knows a lot more about it than I do. |
