| MY FIRST MALFUNCTION. I've had this thing for 3 yrs now and the effect beat selector buttons went out. =( Go figure that the pioneer website isnt very helpful ;-) :( |

| My left button is fainted slightly. Have you tried pressing them harder? It works for me. |

my djm-600 is missing all the caps and knobs pretty much.. but for $10 each to replace, i am not really missing them.. other then that, it is holding up..

my mates djm600 has done the same. he has to proper twat the buttons for them to work now :/
not sure if its fixable though, it might be worth giving pioneer a call. |

They are popular for a reason - well thought out design, good ergonomics, appealing feature sets.
They are a bit on the pricey side for the lack of quality though. On any forum (except Pioneer's) you'll find dozens of threads similar to this.
In any case, check Pioneer's forum, there's an email address for a technical support person who may be able to help you. I believe it's in the FAQ.

I haven't sold many DJM-600's. However I did sell a lot of HDJ-1000's, and most of them wound up broken. I must salute Pioneer's warranty service, because they've replaced EACH AND EVERY ONE of them.
It's a shame it happened after 3 years. Your warranty's probably expired now. |
