| JXL played only about an hour 45. but man did he make the crowd move like crazy!!! i felt bad for him tho because there were 2 or 3 stoppages within the first 10 minutes or so of his PA. not sure what happened. jimmy van m was good as well, opening up for JXL. anyway my entire body is a mess right now. i'm gonna feel so sore tomorrow |

Only JXL can have 2-3 stoppages and no one would care at all at the end :happy2:
and yes, my ankles, back, neck, and legs are damn sore right now |

It was really good to see you Sal and the rest of the gang.
I was disappointed with the turnout as this is JUNKIE XL! :D Crobar was 3/4 capacity but was a mostly cool crowd - no real manfest craziness. I was glad that he played at Crobar.
Junkie had technical problems that affected the first 45 minutes of his set. His last hour though was banging. I would have loved to get the two chuggers he played near the end ID'ed.
Alex Graham opened for him and Jimmy Van M came on afterwards. I left and headed to Spirit where Godskitchen was hosting DJ Vibe and LES and Jason Jollins. Vibe played hard that night and it was good. Spirit was packed at 4AM and full of happy clubbers. I thought the crowd was better at Spirit last night which pleasantly surprised me.
I have JXL at Crobar 7/10. |
