So I work nightshift, and around 6 AM, one of the day staff people come in. Well she's there working and whatever, and I am trying to handle the rush of people coming in.
Suddenly, some guy comes in and tells her "there's been an accident, I need you to call the police."
If any of you don't know, Thursday evening it was snowing all night, and then melting as it hit the ground. The roads were slick on Friday, and it was very early morning, so there were stupid tired drivers.
Well, the genius of the day calls 911. I ask her if she called the police, and she says, "yea I called 911", and I'm like, "you called 911 for a fender bender???"
It pissed me off, but I was like "oh well, what's done is done."
About 15 minutes later, the police and such still hadn't arrived, which seems odd, but considering the driving conditions, I wasn't overly shocked.
She suggest she calls the police department this time, and I tell her not to, because if she calls the cops too, she will have 2 sets of cruisers sent out, FOR A ING FENDER BENDER!!
I tell her it isn't smart to be calling and tying up the lines when there are probably much more severe accidents out there, and she should be patient. Well she ing calls 911 AGAIN!!
What a dumb ass tard! She tells the operator that the police haven't showed up yet, and that the drivers are getting irate. (OH NO, what will we ever do!?!? SOMEONE GETTING IRATE AFTER AN ACCIDENT?? SHOCK HORROR!! Send a ing swat team!) I wanted to slap her!! Then she says "oh by the way, no one is hurt or anything". OMG!! The operator tells her that there are several SEVERE accidents they are tending to, and it may be another half hour before anyone can come.
5 minutes later a cruiser shows up, and it's all taken care of.
WHAT THE HELL!!!?!??! She called 911 TWICE! Tied up the line, and caused a ruckus OVER A GADDAM STUPID FENDER BENDER!!
I was beyond pissed at her for this. I couldn't help but wonder if there was someone laying in their mangled car trying to call 911, BUT GOT A ING BUSY SIGNAL!

| There are knobs everywhere. At my work, I got people doing device exchanges as soon as they hear the words "not getting signal". Where do u work? 7/11? that's pretty late. |

i called 911 when my house got robbed and my dads car got stolen.. but i guess thats a more serious situation
she probably misunderstood and though accident/ injury.. either way.. its not that bad that she does call 911 they'll just place her call as lower priority i would imagine
but still for a minor accident like that you just call the police department |

Yes I remember once I actually dialed 911 by mistake!! How can anyone possibly do that you may ask?
Well basically my cellphone has 911 on speedial, so once I put it back in my pocket WITHOUT putting the key lock on. I sat down, and away the speedial goes...
Next thing I know my phone is ringing... I pick it up and the guy is like "You just rang 911, do you have an emergency?"
I felt like a fukin' idiot... apologised like no tomorrow.... :(
