Hey poeple,
I just got into trance like a week ago and I love it! I wasn't really into music until I discovered trance. :D
I got a problem though..
I'm only 14 and I have no way of buying trance from any store.
Unfortunatley I can't ask my parents cause of reasons i don't wish to go into.
:(
The only way I can listen to trance is to download anything free online that I can find. Could you poeple help me out? Are there any good free mp3 sites for trance? Or any other way I can get my hands on some trance.
Also, I'm a little uneducated about trance in general. I have no idea whats the difference between all these different types of trance and who all these dj's are and stuff. If there is any good sites that can help fill me in i'd like to know.
Also, regarding downloading mp3's for free online, what's considered illegal? And what should I avoid doing?
Overall I'd just like to get a good push into trance. And if theres anything you'd like to tell me, I want to hear.

| My family is horribly disfunctional and just plain wierd. It would be hard for me to explain specific details as to why I can't, sorta long story and besides its personal. Can you help me out anyway? :/ |

we COULD, but by mentioning that you just made us interested.
d/ling mp3s is illegal and you shouldnt discuss it or you'll get banned by a mod. if you do it, keep it on the downlow and be safe about it.
spend the next week doing nothing but browsing these forums and you'll learn a lot.
if you're 14, get a job and go buy CDs yourself or something...

| try looking in the Amateur Music Producers forum. i've found alot of good tunes in there, made by TAs. |

| If you can't buy trance, tell them you're buying something else... like country or hip hop. How are they going to know the difference unless they listen to it? |

Ameteur DJ's forum, ppl post their mixes in there all the time and are always trying to get kids to DL them for their own promotion, alot of them play the biggest current tunes too. Have fun.
Also, get a Bit Torent client and get the mixes off of ETS-global.org
There are mixes and tracks available on this site as well.
My family wouldn't let me go out and buy cd's either, and it was always hard shopping for them while I was there, just wait a few years you'll get your freedom one of these days. |
