Well, most people know that Mr Sam vs Fred Baker ended because Fred Baker was tired of Mr Sam always get most credit of their productions and remixes, so who do you think is doing the best music nowadays?

before the separation:
mr sam vs fred baker pres as one - forever waiting
age of love - age of love (mr sam vs fred baker remix)
Mr. Sam vs Tim Coltrane presents The Tribute - One More Day (Mr Sam Vs Fred Baker Remix)
Y Traxx - Mystery Land (mr sam vs fred baker remix)

after the separation:
- Fred Baker joins M.I.K.E. for Active Sight and produce big tunes like Active Sight - Search for freedom and Of our lives
- Fred Baker and Terry bones pres. Waterplanet - Introspection get huge success...
- Mr Sam and Dimitri Andreas do some good tunes like Naranja and El toro...

Well, after the duo ended I prefer the Fred Baker stuff, but when both was doing music together the results are better, melodic and catchy...
oppinions"?

That's is not what happened at all. Fred did most of the work, Sam cannot even play a keyboard and is by far an inferior producer. The Naranja tune fred was involved in b4 sam shafted him on it and el toro plain sucks. Fred's Dark Alliance/M.I.B and other stuff is better and he has a wider range of succesful productions of all kinda styles. Sam has made life hard for him with some labels not even willing to listen to fred's material (Blackhole being one) but in all the time fred has never come out and admitted what we all know about sam but rather been a gent about it when most people wouldn't have

Ian, you have bad taste if you don't like Naranja.

Ahh, n/m then.

The Mr. Sam vision is total e, I guess that right there showcases his production ability.

Fred Baker did most of the work of Fred Baker vs Mr. Sam. In fact I have no idea what Mr. Sam's participation actually was other than having contacts and slapping his name on tracks after they were finished. The sound is different now because Fred wants his own sound apart from the work he did when associated with Mr. Sam. Why do all the work and have someone else take all the credit? Secondly...it should be Terry Bones vs Fred Baker pres. Waterplanet - Introspection. That was Terry's baby with Fred adding his touch to it. Dark Alliance is Terry, Fred, and Greg Kalas. Most of the work is Terry and Fred. Fred is far superior a producer to Mr. Sam.

I knew about the whole Mr. Sam taking credit for Fred Baker's work thing, basically using Fred as a hired producer and not a collaborator, but what did he do to make some labels not even want to listen to Fred's stuff?
TOR
we need more Screen productions, with big cinematic breakdowns

a hell of a lot of bull & lies, it's quite pathetic really cos loads of labels won't even accept demos from fred now, but he's too nice a guy to kick sam's ass
NoisyNeil
Fred Baker for sure :toothless

The productions as Active Sight are simply amazing, and lets not forget Jan Vayne - Welcome To A New World (Fred Baker Mix)... Need I say more?

No big fan of the last Mr Sam tracks, so UWM thinks I don't have taste now :stongue: Didn't like Naranja and all the others that followed!
