I am not sure what the hell it means. I went to the Microsoft website but i didn't find anything that could help me. Basically IE doesn't work. I click on the shortcut and nothing comes up it just says that there is an error. I would appreciate any guidance as to what i should do, what it means or a website that i can visit to fix this. I don't have my originial disks that came with the computer right now (they are about 3,000 miles away ATM).THNX
Specs: windows 98, 366mghz cetrino processor, 64 ram, 4 gigs on harddrive.:(
BTW i have firefox now, but i want to fix this anyway.:D

| IE is stating that an error was caused at each specific locations in the memory. What is the fastest way to fix that error with the information you just gave? Use firefox. |

is ur OS xp? if it is, pop in ur disc and then go to run and type in
sfc /scannow hopefully that will fix it or just do a system restore to a point where IE worked or just reinstall IE |

i have win 98. the problem is that i don't have my disc. do you think that i can download the program off the net and then reinstall it? i think i tried that but i could only find a fule that would update ir and that didn't fix it. i'll try again.
PS i use firefox but just want to fix it. |

| ahhh you see, that's where the problem lies at. You don't know what the problem is! Something is causing it to crash. Spyware? too many "Awesome" toolbars? Maybe files just got corrupted. First thing i would do is download spybot search and destroy AND Adaware. The unplug the cable to the internet run spybot search and destro, reboot, then run adaware. then attempt to open up IE to see if it still crashes. If it does not crash then plug in the internet cable back. oh... and do the robot. Doing the robot fixes everything. The robot and the electric slide are unbeatable! |

| re: spyware removal, try downloading spy sweep too. you can only get a 30-day evaluation unless you want to pay for it, but its very very good, and will clear some things up that adaware will miss. the evaluation thing is 100% functional :) |
