THE CRYSTAL METHOD (Exclusive DJ Set)
The Crystal Method's Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland helped re-establish
America's place on the dance music map with the acclaimed 1994 City of
Angels single "Now Is the Time," which married samples and sound bites with pulsing breakbeats and electronically generated hooks. Together Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland steer their custom vehicle of electronic music into riffs of futuristic rock 'n' roll. Taking the elements associated with the U.K.'s big beat generation, the Crystal Method enhances this style of stomping funk with a pinch of American spice. The two first worked together as DJs in their hometown of Las Vegas, but it was a move to Los Angeles that precipitated the band's surge to the forefront of America's burgeoning electronic dance movement.

| i definitely don't want to miss this one as well but i should be able to go... crystal method and john "00" fleming all in one weekend, i bloody hope that i have sunday off! :crazy: |

Oh man, "00" and the Crystal Method in the same week. This is going to be a hard one to pick. I have never see the Crystal Method. Much like Mr. Pink, ive been listening to them since 6th grade when i got the first Digital Empire cd. Man those were the days...
I'm leaning more to Ken and Scott because "00" has a quarterly residence here in Atlanta. So i know that i'll get to see him again. But, From what i have been told Ken and Scott might be quiting soon??? But, who knows... |

if that is the case, i pray that they will do one last tour, a LIVE P.A tour that is... that would be awesome! |

I agree. Ive never seen them...and it really blow but i dont think im going to get to go because i dont have the cash. Unless my friend caleb's brother can get me in for free or something(Reign). But i really dont think that its going to happen. But, maybe a mircle happens. |
