Anyone buy GU Lights Out 2?

I just bought nubreed 3 finally after a long time of never getting around to buying it. I own GU Lights Out 1 and I may buy GU Lights Out 2 but I want to know from the people who bought it (amazon reviews don't mean crap to me), is it mean and dark and dirty like the first volume. I heard that Lawler uses more vocal house, which I like but if it is not dark or dirty, I won't buy it. So if you bought the compilation, let me know your thoughts about it.

i dont own the first one, but i do own his NuBreed CD. Lights Out 2 is pretty tight i think. there isnt much vocal house if thats what you're worried about. (the vocal tracks only contain minor vocal loops and dont really have full on lyrics, although some do.) its as deep and dark as it can get. its got some pretty great tribal material on it with some great pumpin house. if u liked his NuBreed cd, i dont see why u wouldnt love this one.. ever since i bought it, i play it atleast once a week. it has been the most consistently played album i own..

Bought... Very good stuff. Maybe better than LO 1. Yes, dark and dirty and chuggy and funky. Really good. If you like 1 definately buy 2.

meh, which means you might like it andy...i dunno.

ive seen lawler multiple times and the only time he truly entertained me was when i had a bit of vodka. i tend to like comps and djs that transcend beerisms or drugisms.

Lawler in Stockholm was piss poor since the beer was about 13 bucks a pint...Sander on the other hand...|

seriously if i hear deep, dark and dirty together again im gonna puke.

its not a snuff film|

Hmmm. Lemme summarize it for you.
Disc 1 is more commercial of the two. It's probably something that Lawler would play on a commerical club night i.e the sound has the Lawler signature.
Disc 2 is deep, darrrrrk and dirrrtyyyyyyyyyyy. Lawler reallly shines on this one.
It's a good buy man. Just complete the collection(even tho there's only two of them.)
Usually you can't go wrong with Lawler.

I prefer Lights Out 1 as is darker and more tribalish then his seconf volume :D

Its still pretty good though

I like LO1 more than LO2. But it doesn't beat his Nubreed...especially disc one :D

Lights Out 2 is probably on the more commercial, upbeat side of tribal (although it does draw on more diverse sounds than his other compilations) but it's definitely worth buying imho. Lights Out 1 is probably the best of the three (has that sexy, groovy flavour to it without goig overboard) but I never really "got" his nu-breed CD to be honest (to bland and chuggity). So yeah, worth a buy so long as you're not expecting anything too similar to the first one. :)

I'm gonna agree with the others in saying you should buy it :)
