There is no other guide.
I agree that Ishkur's is a bit incomplete, but on another note, I dont see why Electronic music has to be split into so many genres.
At one point it was all actually called techno, whats wrong with just one term? |

| The Ishkur "Guide" is just mere opinion. And as said before, it's not possible to complete an in-depth guide, as defining certain aspects of EDM is nearly impossible; you can get the general sounds down easily, but when it comes to the nitty-gritty sub-genres (and maybe even sub-sub-genres), you'll be arguing over opinions forever. |
