hey all

i actually posted this yesterday, along with reviews of a bunch of tunes on the site, but i guess the server hiccuped and all my posts were lost, along with my account. so i had to re-register and go through that whole process again.

anyway, this is my first submission to the TA masses. i've been producing in this epic trance style for a while now, so im trying to move away from it for a while. i tried to get all the trance out of me in one tune, and this is how it turned out.

any feedback i could get would be apprecitated :D

Nice, like the start & hook and also the breaks, bit of a sucker for breaks. Dunno why but I didn't expect that crash and then the kick.. it sounded good nonetheless. You deffinatly kept a nice steady pace all the way through which is always good, plus everything sounds in time and well cordenated to. Gonna go download it now tbh ;).

thanks man. glad you liked it :D

hi, this sounds cool i like epic stuff the, main synth is well nice. The bass is cool to, what do you use to produce? The arp is good and the breakbeat, not sure what else to man this is a good track.

awesome tune man, i've been listening to it a few times to try and give some constructive criticism, but i have none.
really nice tune, awesome vibe and excellent production.
it's funny how you said you came up with this tune, trying to get all the trance out of your system :) all the best with your future breaks endeavours!
tylerc
thanks a lot for the comments guys.

phomo - yea, its kinda ironic eh? i know ill end up back at trance eventually, as ive told myself many times that im gonna venture away from it for a while and i always end up back where i started :p

thanks again for listening!

It's a little bit fluffy for me personally, but it sounded pretty damn good, even on my crappy laptop speakers. I even forgot what i was listening to halfway thru, thinking it might have been the mp3's of all the new records i bought this week.

How's Madtown holding up these days Cody? I miss it, but Savannah is pretty neat (and it's only now starting to get cold at night!).

hey mitch

thanks for checkin out the tune man. its cool to hear feeback from a (former) local dude, cuz theres no was i would put any of this stuff on madfam.

madtown is alright tho. its gettin cold as here tho. there are some pretty good nights going on, but everyone is doing stuff on thursdays so i cant get to all of them. as you may or may not know, obsession got canned after last month, so theres not a lot going on other than melodic sessions at the casbah.

who do you suggest i get some demos to for some sort of trance/prog gig?

btw, its Charley..Cody is close tho :p

This is one tight track.

Good job!

If you want some advice, send your stuff to aload of labels in the UK, your garanteed to get some feedback, this is a style that DJ Precision would play - So maybe Somatic Sense or something - I dunno, but just send it to anyone!

Loved the break, was good stuff :-)

Great stuff man, keep it up!

I got nothing bad to say about it, Tyler, you've also grown a lot musically in the year or so since the last time I've talked to you. Great synths and great hook melody, very pro stuff.
