Christmas in Kalmar

Hi all
Please excuse the post in English
I am visiting Öland at christmas and would like to know of any clubs or bars in that general area that play trance? We will have a car so travelling around will not be a problem.

the big problem will be that since christmas is such a big familyweekend for so many there won't be many clubs around thoose dates unfortunatley. the last tranceparty before christmas usually comes around lucia (13th december) so I would try to time that if possible :)

I have a friend who lives close to Öland so can listen whith him if something´s up, perhaps some UG-psy party :p
But as Scul said I belive chance of finding a tranceparty is slim to none. In Sweden trance and other EDM music are not very big.
Best party suggestion I can give you is to go out party the 25th of December, that´s probably the most fun party day in regular nightclubs in Sweden... at least it is in my community (Upplands Väsby)

I live 120km from Kalmar ...
And I can say that there are no decent music in that town, neither in öland...
too bad ;)
But maybe we will have some party here in växjö this cristmas.. who know ;) |

Im from Kalmar but live in Helsingborg.. but i should know whats (not) going on.
None of the clubs play trance on a regular basis. Sometimes if you are lucky Palace (http://www.palacekalmar.com) have a small room for trance called "the tunnel". Maybe on christmas day, becuse its a big party day in sweden and lots of people going out (remember to come early if you dont wanna stand in the line for hours).
We also have Turbine (http://www.turbine.nu) that arranging Trance partys a few times every year. Not sure if its any party during x-mas but keep an eye on their website.
There is also a club called Underbar that sometimes plays alternative music, but not sure of the status of that club atm.
I will probably be in Kalmar around x-mas so i can check closer if anything fun going to happened. |

| You can always visit Karma 3 the 18th dec in Jönköping. Its a big party and Jönköping is "only" about 200km from Kalmar. |
