I have never dropped a call, or had issues with fido unless i was near the edge of the coverage map, or in a building, which fido does such ass for. rogers has way better reception in buildings becuase rogers uses 1900Mhz/850Mhz gsm and fido is 1900Mhz/900Mhz the 850 Has way higher building penetration versus the 900Mhz. |
Fido does not operate 900MHz, only 1900MHz. Nobody in North America operates at 900MHz. |

Fido has no contracts and the terms of the merger are that FIDO is still considered a separate entity, but for the extra 5 bucks a month you can use the rogers network. so no need to worry about contracts ending. also fidos packages are still available and wont change as of yet so id take advantage if you already are not a fido customer. |
