This question gets asked about once a month... shouldn't it be about time we sticky at least one of those threads? :p
BTW Beatport 2.0 should be ready "soon"... hopefully not too much longer. I just detest their "1 download" only policy currently. Too many things can go wrong. |

EDIT: I got the wrong idea, this thread is about something else, never mind ... |

personally I hate digital download sites, not because they offer the music, I hate the mp3's that I've bought, they take too long to load and I like to have the full version with the artwork and CD booklet, that's just me.
Expect more and more and more labels to be offering their entire back catalogues for mp3 download. TCR is going to do that as well as a bunch of other labels. I see it as the future and for labels, it is cheaper than re-issuing vinyl of old things. |

I use them instead of buying new records, vinyl isn't cheap :) |

edmdigital.com is a decent site. I like releaserecords as well. I've never encountered a problem with either site.
It would be cool if these sites also started to offer artwork with each tune. They could allow you to buy the track, as well as a CD sticker template type deal. That way you could still have artwork for the cover of your CD with the MP3 you bought. |

Yah, included artwork would be real neat. I think iTunes does this already. Very nice feature. I think given a year or two's time, digital downloading will be pretty sophisticated. Hopefully the prices will stay low. |
