Who has used Febreeze before? It is a household product that eliminates odors on fabrics.

Quick Answer these questions....Im doing a study.

1. Why is it important to have good odor on your clothes?

2. WHat would you use instead if you didnt have febreeze?

3. Whats better about febreeze or what sets Febreeze apart from other odor removing products (cologne???)

4. When was the last time you bought Febreeze?

5. How many do you buy when you go shop? How often?

6. Should the content be raised or lowered?

7. Will you be more satisfied when content raise even if price increase a tad? Will you buy it more?

Kind of an odd set of question there...Do you work for them or doing some type of market research?

1. Because people prefer to smell fresh

2. Laundry Detergant

3. It is generally a cheap alternative

4. 20-24 months ago

5. One or two, whenever the old one runs out.

6. More content

7. I would pay up to 1.5 cents more per fl oz

its just a random set of questions dealing from target market, sales, and like that.

Group project on developing the brand...proposing a complete new marketing strat for it.

Im toying with the idea of lowering the content/amt of the bottle therefore decreasing the price. This leads to more sales...however the price won't decrease propotionately to the content. It will decrease to the extent of generating profit with each amount decreased. Interesting thing I've seen is Increasing the size, increasing the price a tad bit will not generate more sales of bottles. Cheesy crap....so far. Im just Bsing my way through this survey assignment. 30pape paper should be fun though

Quick Answer these questions....Im doing a study.

1. Why is it important to have good odor on your clothes?

It isn't important and you won't convince me otherwise.

2. WHat would you use instead if you didnt have febreeze?

Potpourris

3. Whats better about febreeze or what sets Febreeze apart from other
odor removing products (cologne???)

The name and nothing else.

4. When was the last time you bought Febreeze?

Just this morning.

5. How many do you buy when you go shop? How often?

A case, at least. Once a week, at least.

6. Should the content be raised or lowered?

Yes, to a size of a beer keg.

7. Will you be more satisfied when content raise even if price increase a tad? Will you buy it more?

The more it costs, and less I receive, the more I'll be satisfied and the more i'll buy.

really appreciate it guys

Anytime.

1. Why is it important to have good odor on your clothes?

so you don't walk around with stinking jeans from a night out.

2. WHat would you use instead if you didnt have febreeze?

washing powder, but expensive jeans would fade quicker.

3. Whats better about febreeze or what sets Febreeze apart from other odor removing products (cologne???)

it eliminates the odour, doesn't mask it (i know, i have seen the ad :p)

4. When was the last time you bought Febreeze?

august, before my mum came back from holiday, to cover up the stink of weed in the curtains.

5. How many do you buy when you go shop? How often?

1, not very often.

6. Should the content be raised or lowered?

don't really care.

7. Will you be more satisfied when content raise even if price increase a tad? Will you buy it more?

wouldn't really bothe rme either way, and no i wouldn't buy more.

1. Why is it important to have good odor on your clothes?

Because BO is disgusting, it is poor hygiene and it is considerate to others

2. WHat would you use instead if you didnt have febreeze?

Well i don't use it, but if not, i would spray some of that citrus smelling stuff around, don't know any brands sorry

3. Whats better about febreeze or what sets Febreeze apart from other
odor removing products (cologne???)

Marketing is the name of the game.

4. When was the last time you bought Febreeze?

Never.

5. How many do you buy when you go shop? How often?

None. Never.

6. Should the content be raised or lowered?

It seems about right to me, although i have never used it.

7. Will you be more satisfied when content raise even if price increase a tad? Will you buy it more?

Are you familiar with the term Just Noticeable Difference (JND) ? It's a marketing theory. Basically, people have different levels of perception and they can sense certain things but not others, and at different levels.

There is a certain level, called the differential threshold (i think) at which we can sense something.

Example: If you are driving in your car and see a billboard, there is a certain distance at which you can finally read the billboard. This would be the differential threshold.

ANYWAY, the just noticeable difference is the amount that you can change a product (eg taste, size, colour) before people notice. You can change below and up to the JND, but once you go over it, people notice.

Basically, if you were the person selling Febreeze you would want to reduce the size to just below the JND so you are making more profit, or maybe you would increase the price just enough so that people don't notice it and buy it anyway.

[/end marketing lesson]

*P.S. I should really start stusdying for my marketing exam, it's early next week and i haven't started :wtf:
