Northern lights!!!!! WOW!!! (pg. 2)

I saw them on sunday night, around 11pm as me and the dj were I was were outside having a few tokes on a blunt...
it was quite nice to see,,, not sure that ive ever seen them up in c'wood bfeore... teh whole sky looked like it was just streaked wiht with white light... verry cool... plus it made the clouds that were in the sky look VERY VERY dark and ominous... cool stuff!! :thepirate |

The Norhtern Lights + the Perseids are both amazing stellar phenomena. I spent around 1 hour lying on my back in the middle of a country road watching the Perseids this summer. It was amazing.
And I doubt we can see the Norhtern Lights from Tdot. Too much radiant light from the city. Maybe you can out in the burbs, but not DT for sure. |

| They were really bright here in Ottawa on Sunday night. Last night, they were visible, but a bit more faint. Interesting stuff to see for sure.:cool: |

Lucky, I went out in the coutry last night with a 5.0 megapixel digi cam and it was cloudy:mad: There is a chance over the next few days to see them , but they wont be as intense. I just hope we get another big storm and its clear before winter is over. |

in Toronto the lights are soooooo bright that you can't tell anything from northern lights to the high way's lights..
oh well!
to bad i am missing it - if i still lived up NORTH then i would have seen the Northern lights!
All that I can see my eyes seeing is Northern Light's Weedibix |
